Joint Base Charleston leadership and Berkeley County Library System staff members signed an Air Force Community Partnership initiative on Mar. 2, 2016, for the Berkeley County Library's Bookmobile to visit the Naval Weapons Station on a regular basis. This initiative is the second project developed by JB Charleston's Air Force Community Partnership Program. Since January 2013, more than 1,000 initiatives and 158 agreements Air Force-wide, have generated $23 million in Air Force benefit and $24 million in community benefit.
